Russell runs on the river and reliable plumbing.

Russell is a small town along the Westfield River where Route 20 starts its climb toward the Berkshires. The town has a mix of older village homes near the center and more rural properties up on the surrounding hills.

Flooding from the Westfield River has been a recurring issue, and that moisture affects plumbing in ways people don't always think about. Water damage from below can compromise drain lines, and the persistent humidity promotes mold in basement spaces where water heaters and pipes run.

Russell is close enough to Westfield for quick service calls but far enough away that some companies don't bother. Ours do. They include Russell in their regular route through the western Hampden County towns.
