Hampden is a small, residential town tucked between Wilbraham and Monson. There's no commercial strip, no big box stores. Just well-kept homes on wooded lots where people value their privacy and their property.

Most homes here are single-family with generous lot sizes. Construction ranges from 1950s capes to custom builds from the 2000s. The older homes often have original plumbing that's overdue for updates. The newer ones sometimes have builder-grade fixtures that weren't the best quality to begin with.
